- 1 can of metallic silver spray paint

Step 1: Prepare Your Beach Ball

Step 2: Painting
Lay out your newspaper or drop cloth in a well-ventilated area. Spray the mushroom cap with white paint, focusing on the top and slight edge around the perimeter. Allow it to dry completely. Once dry, use your metallic silver spray paint to create the spots on the mushroom cap, using the Sharpie marker as a guide. Allow it to dry completely.
For the stem, use the yellow spray paint to give it a bright and cheerful color. Allow it to dry completely.
Step 3: Prepare the Lamp
Disassemble your IKEA VÄTE table lamp. Paint the base and any exposed metal parts with metallic silver spray paint. Allow it to dry completely.
Step 4: Assembly
Carefully slide the mushroom cap onto the top of the lampshade frame, securing it in place with the clamps that come with the lamp. Reassemble the lamp base with the mushroom stem securely screwed onto the top.
